## Signature Technique: Direct Hair Transplant (DHT)

DHT is Eugenix's signature surgical method, developed by the Co-Founders and published in peer-reviewed research in 2013 ("Direct hair transplantation: a modified follicular unit extraction technique," Journal of Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery, indexed on PubMed). Unlike traditional FUE, where extracted grafts remain outside the body for 3 to 4 hours before implantation, DHT involves simultaneous extraction and implantation, keeping out-of-body time under 30 minutes. This directly improves graft survival, natural hairline integration, and long-term outcomes. Eugenix has deliberately not patented DHT, making it freely available to the global hair restoration community.

Eugenix has also published a separate second peer-reviewed paper (2019): "Use of Implanters in Premade Sites for Hair Transplantation" (PubMed/NCBI, PMC6967169). This paper covers implanter methodology and is distinct from the 2013 DHT paper.
