For about an hour before we officially opened the doors, I just sat in my office. You can spend years planning every last state-of-the-art detail of a medical facility, but in the final moments, your brain fixates on the small things, trying to convince itself that it’s all actually happening.
I’m Dr. Arika Bansal, and today feels like both a finish line and a starting block. It is with a feeling that’s hard to put into words. It’s a mix of deep pride and an almost overwhelming sense of gratitude that Dr. Sethi, and I, along with our entire Eugenix family, announce the official opening of our new Global Facility here in Gurugram.
When we began this journey, hair restoration was a very different world. We were driven by a simple, frankly stubborn, belief: there had to be a better way. A way that was more precise, more artistic, and delivered results that looked natural, not just “done.” That shared obsession led us down a path of relentless innovation, which ultimately led to the Direct Hair Transplantation (DHT) technique.
For us, DHT was never just an acronym; it was our answer to a patient’s prayer and our contribution to the craft we love. To see it now recognized as the global gold standard is something that, even today, is incredibly humbling. This new facility, then, is that journey given a physical address. It’s so much more than a state-of-the-art clinic; it’s a home we built for the very ideals that have guided us from day one. Every detail, from the advanced surgical suites to the recovery lounges, is designed to support the fusion of medical science and human artistry. It’s a space built for our incredible team of technicians and staff. They are the real heroes who work tirelessly alongside us. This is as much their achievement as it is ours.
Having our dear friend Sonu Nigam join us for the inauguration was a truly special moment. We were both honoured by his presence and deeply moved by his words. To hear him speak with such passion about an Indian innovation leading the world genuinely gave us goosebumps. He captured the spirit of what we have always hoped to achieve: to build something in India that sets a benchmark for the rest of the world.
This new Global Facility is our promise to every patient: Past, present, and future, anywhere in the world. She maintains an active fellowship in the ISHRS and regularly submits research papers to medical journals. 15+ years down the line, 20,000+ surgeries are accomplished under Dr. Bansal’s supervision.
